FAQ’s
HOW DOES IT WORK IF I PURCHASE ONLINE?
If you purchase a firearm online, the seller will request a copy of our Federal Firearms License (FFL) linked below. In order to make the transaction as smooth as possible we suggest downloading the form below and sending it to the dealer or individual you are purchasing the product from.
PRIVATE PARTY PURCHASE
When performing an in-person transaction, you will need to meet the seller at our location where we will handle all the appropriate paperwork based on the style of firearm and current regulations. Some firearms will be released at that time and others will require a waiting period before being released.
SALES TAX (USE TAX)
When purchasing a firearm online the purchaser is required to pay sales tax at the rate for the area in which they reside. Some online retailers and sellers collect sales tax and some do not. When you come in to do paperwork on your item we will ask for verification of sales tax being paid. If it has not been paid we are required by law to collect sales/use tax.
TRANSFERING TO A FAMILY MEMBER
There are some transactions such as within a family that do not require processing through an FFL. For more information we refer you to Washington State RCW 9.41.113
