TAYLOR LITTLE

SUPERVISOR

Background: 8 years in the industry, competitive shooter, hunter, hobbyist.

Awards/Competitions: AA degree from Spokane Community College, USPSA competitor.

What inspires me: My grandfather who passed in 2019 was and is my biggest inspiration for just about everything I do. I'm also am inspired by Gabby Franco and Michelle Waldran (the two female shooters sponsored by Walther) to keep pushing for my goal to get sponsored by Walther Arms, and lastly seeing females walk into our store and want to learn how to use a firearm or want to protect themselves inspires me to become a better instructor every day.

Favorite range firearm: Walther Q5 Steel Frame

What I like about teaching others: My favorite part about teaching is seeing people become confident with firearms and seeing the smiles on students’ faces. Being a female in the industry, I love teaching women who want to learn to shoot and want to protect themselves… as well and watching that part of the industry grow. Just being a part of that is fun.

Hobbies: Competitive shooting, shooting in general, hunting, fishing, camping, off roading, hiking, paddle boarding.

Describe your teaching style: I strive to simply let my background dictate my approach to teaching, and create a goal based platform. We are all here to learn serious safety skills and educate ourselves, but we can have fun doing it.

JUSTIN HARRIS

INSTRUCTOR

Background: I'm a self-taught shooter who is always searching for new ways to improve my skills and help others find a passion in shooting and applying it for the benefit of themselves and their loved ones

What inspires me: I'm inspired by those who seek to preserve and uphold the sanctity of life, particularly when they use the Bible and its guidelines as their basis for the "why" behind the "what"

Favorite range firearm: My PWS/Aero AR-15 build.

What I like about teaching others: I love helping to de-mystify the world of shooting to people who want to use firearms for fun or for practical applications in the real world

Hobbies: Aside from shooting, I love running and going on hikes with friends

Teaching style: I am a very tactile and visual teacher. I've found that when students can see and feel the difference rather than just hear it, they tend to use it in a repeatable fashion that benefits their future as a responsible gun owner.

DARIUS MICK

INSTRUCTOR

Background: Military & hobbyist

Awards/Competitions: AA Degree from SCC, NRA Instructor Certification, USMC Infantryman

What inspires me: Self-reliance

Favorite range firearm: Anything belt fed

What I like about teaching others: Seeing progression and the "light-bulb" moment in students.

Hobbies: Shooting, exercising, ju-jitsu, and video games

Teaching style: I try to bring as much of a human element as I possibly can, though the discussions are serious you can approach everything with a sense of humor and empathy. I also truly believe that hands-on experience is the best way to learn in this industry and nothing replaces hard work.

NATHAN SHEETS

INSTRUCTOR

Background: 4 years Marine Corps, Private Security Armed Instructor, Competitive Shooting, Hunting, Hobbyist.

Awards/Competitions: Expert Rifle badge in the USMC, NRA Instructor Certification, WSCJTC Instructor Certification

What inspires me: Educating and training new generations of gun owners and Second Amendment enthusiasts. Passing on knowledge to create safe and proficient shooters/gun owners.

Favorite range firearm: Glock and Sig-Sauer Pistols and AR-15's.

What I like about teaching others: I like teaching because I love to see people feel confident with firearms. The best part is when someone comes in that is scared/intimidated by firearms leaves a class feeling empowered with a firearm. Nothing is better than creating new Second Amendment supporters and safe/proficient gun owners.

Hobbies: Shooting, Backpacking, Camping, Mountain Biking, Gaming.

Describe your teaching style: I pride myself on my ability to teach shooters of all levels. Shooters at varying levels of experience and skill require different styles of instruction. For newer shooters I play the role of a patient mentor, guiding the shooter in order to build their fundamentals. As a student becomes more advanced and experienced as they move up our curriculum, I tend to transition into more of a "Coach" role. Teaching them new skills and drills to build their proficiency and make sure they're practicing correctly. Every Student is different and I do my best to give individualized instruction.
