Drawing & Reloading
Whether you carry open or concealed, drawing a handgun is the pre-requisite skill before you can ever fire a shot, therefore, making drawing one of the critical skills all carriers should build. Once the gun is being used, keeping ammunition readily available by reloading quickly is critical in both competition and self-defense shooting. In this 2-hour class students will learn to draw effectively from the holster and gain proficiency in speed and tactical reloading.
Requirements:
Their own pistol and at least 2 magazines (preferably 3) for that pistol
A holster for their pistol
Magazine pouches for extra magazines is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
At least 100 rounds of range ammunition. (Must be jacketed, non-steel-cased)
Eye & Ear protection is provided and required
Prepare for light to moderate physical activity
*Special Notes: This class is focused on teaching the skill of reloading a semi-auto handgun. If you are a new shooter and are unfamiliar with Safety, handling, Drawing and Marksmanship techniques; we would recommend you take those classes first.
