Every other month a class tailored specifically for women is taught by a female instructor in order to foster a safer and better prepared community.
For Sharp Shooting Girls Gun Club Class in May we will be teaching Women’s Conceal Carry!
Carrying concealed isn’t one-size-fits-all—this women-only class is built around you. Learn how to carry confidently and comfortably based on your body type, lifestyle, and personal needs. In a supportive, female-focused environment, you’ll develop a strong defensive mindset while gaining practical, real-world skills. We cover key topics like carry positions, basic laws, and use of force—so you understand not just how to carry, but when and why. You’ll also get hands-on experience drawing from a holster and apply those skills during live-fire practice with instructor guidance.
Important Class Information & Requirements:
To ensure a safe and productive training environment, all students must follow specific equipment and safety guidelines. Only hip holsters worn from the 4 o’clock position forward are permitted. For safety reasons, ankle holsters, small-of-the-back carry, shoulder holsters, and similar methods are not allowed. All holsters must fully cover the trigger guard and be properly fitted to your firearm.
Please come prepared with the following required items:
A sturdy belt suitable for holster use
A compatible holster
A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition
Eye and ear protection (available if needed)
If you have any questions about approved holsters or equipment, please contact us at Training@sharpshooting.net or call 509-535-4444 prior to class.
This course is designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding of handgun operation. It does not cover how to load, unload, or fire a firearm. If you are new to these skills, we strongly recommend completing an introductory course such as Basic Handgun, Women & Guns, or Handgun Marksmanship before attending.
